The most applicable of them is Mogharnas with wood, which is often used in the form of a wooden column. Due to the inherent limitations of wood, this type of decoration is seen interior spaces of the buildings. Mlamzaldyn historic mosque in the city of Maragheh is among the buildings in which columns of Mogharnas are the main wooden decoration. According to what was stated, the purpose of this study, in addition to identify and introduce، is to investigate methods of their construction and formal Mogharnas categories of the wooden columns of Mzaldyn mosque. According to the abovementioned objective, these questions can be raised; how are variations in the wooden columns in terms of form and run in the Mlamzaldyn Maragheh mosque like? And what reasons are assumed for this variation? To this end, with field observations and library studies، the study proceeds with collecting information and images. Following the descriptive analysis, the above objectives were discussed and presented in a table, along with analysis. After reading the columns of the Mlamzaldyn Maragheh mosque, we found out that the construction methods of all 36 wooden columns of Mogharnas in the large Bedchamber Of Mogharnas Jugate and 6 columns a small Bedchamber are honeycomb ones . Although most parts of this column are almost the same in construction method, among them, one can see 18 types which are formally different from each other, i.e. more than 40% of them are formally variant. It seems that the elongation length of Mogharnas made this opportunity for architect to create all these various forms and consequently resulted in uniqueness of these columns. M3 ER -
